Money in the account and a sale in the store, from one entry.
A customer takes ₦100,000 of products and does not pay yet.
A sale is not always the same thing as cash received. When the customer pays, the debt falls and the account you choose goes up.
A supplier gives you ₦500,000 of stock to pay for later.
When you pay the supplier, the debt falls and the payment account goes down.
You move ₦100,000 from Access Bank to Wema Bank.

Zuru Business Manager is a mobile business management app by Zuru Tech Ltd that helps small and medium businesses track inventory, record sales, manage customer and supplier debts, monitor expenses and understand profit, with offline support on iOS and Android. It has two connected modules: Store, for products, inventory, sales, customers and suppliers, and Cashflow / Ledger, for payment accounts, money in and out, debts, expenses and profitability.
Yes. Zuru tracks products, variants, stock levels, restocking, stock loss and inventory adjustments, and it shows you which items are running low. It also records sales, customers and money, so your inventory stays connected to the rest of your business.
Yes. Zuru supports important workflows, such as recording a sale, when your internet connection is unreliable. The information synchronises when your connection returns.
Zuru is free to start. Download it from the App Store or Google Play and set up your business.
Yes. Record each business expense, such as rent, transport, salaries or utilities, against the payment account it was paid from. Zuru keeps money in and money out in one cashbook, so your expenses are included when it works out your profit.
Yes. Zuru replaces paper sales books, ledger books and inventory spreadsheets. Each sale you record updates your stock, your customer records and your payment accounts automatically, so you do not have to copy figures between books or sheets.
Zuru is built for small and medium businesses: retail stores (fashion, electronics, shoes, cosmetics, supermarkets and home goods), food and beverage businesses (restaurants, bakeries and food suppliers), wholesalers, distributors and importers, and service businesses such as salons, auto services and repair shops. It is used mainly in Nigeria and across Africa.
Yes. When a customer buys on credit or pays part of the amount, Zuru records the outstanding balance as customer debt and links it to that customer. When they pay, the debt decreases and the payment account that received the money increases. Payment reminders help you follow up.
Yes. A business can run several stores, for example Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Each store has its own products, inventory, sales, customers, suppliers and staff, and all of them sit under the same business.
Yes. Add staff to a store and give them roles such as cashier, inventory manager, sales staff, store manager or account staff. You can also create custom roles by combining permissions, and you can require an authorised person to confirm payments that staff record.
Yes. Zuru creates receipts you can share and print, with business details, products, prices, discounts, taxes and payment information, and receipts can be verified using their receipt information. You can also prepare draft invoices, quotes and estimates and customise how your invoices look.
A sale records products sold to a customer. Money received is recorded in a payment account such as a bank account, cash or a POS account. If a customer buys on credit, the sale is recorded but no money enters an account yet. Zuru tracks the balance as customer debt until the customer pays.
Zuru is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. A desktop version is coming soon. Join the waitlist on this page to hear when it is ready.
